Main Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include:

  • administration of public IPv4 and IPv6 address space allocations to Verizon clients
  • maintenance of the IP pools, database updates with RIPE
  • reviews of customers’ IP requirements and determining their validity
  • participation on the provisioning process, collaboration with logical activations group

  • support of the domain name registration process
  • internal order management
  • DNS resource records configuration & updates in UNIX environment and internal tools
  • communication with Verizon clients across EMEA (mainly via email in English)
  • domain name registrations and updates of the registration records across all top-level domains

Key Requirements and Competencies:

  • fluent in English (everyday communication both verbal and written), expected level B2 and higher
  • German will be consider a major advantage (B1), any other languages are welcome
  • analytical thinking and structured work approach, able to deal with ambiguity on daily basis
  • able to understand technical problems
  • very customer and service oriented
  • team player with professional communications skills
  • basic knowledge and understanding of the domain name system (DNS) and Internet Protocol (IP) or experience in a position with similar job description
  • willing to constantly learn new things and processes
  • self-motivated person with attention to details
