Main Responsibilities:

Migration team has an important role in maintenance and upgrading of the core network of our client, Verizon Business.
Logical migrations in data centres and their thorough preparation carried out by our technicians are essential for flawless functioning of possibly the largest
global data network in the world.

And what would be your responsibilities?
  • implementation of product configurations on the network based on given processes and procedures,
  • making sure all data in key systems are up-to-date,
  • preparation of upcoming migrations in cooperation with leadership and project managers,
  • responsibility for data integrity of both started and completed tasks in the systems,
  • communication with members of technical teams during troubleshooting, documenting both problems and solutions in the system,
  • cooperation with colleagues, technicians and representatives of external telecommunication companies during migrations.

Key Requirements and Competencies:

  • familiarity with current LAN and WAN technologies,
  • previous experience in the area of telecommunications,
  • in-depth understanding of network fundamentals; the OSI Model and TCP/IP,
  • spirit of initiative, self-reliance, independence,
  • fluent English both written and spoken on B2 or better, ability to discuss complex technical and business subjects,
  • analytical skills and ability to work in a team environment,
  • willingness to learn new things and eagerness for self-development,
  • Cisco certification or equivalent experience is nice to have,
  • we will appreciate work experience with other L2&L3, non-cisco devices (e.g. Junipers, Alcatel DACCS, DNX 88, Tellabs, ANDA boxes, frame cascades, BPX).
